SP-Where do you find your Monday Morning Muses?
Rawiya: Ah well until the picture controversy I used any man I wanted. Then I had to use the men found on royalty free sites. *sighs* They aren’t always “it” though but the last ones have been spot on.
SP-How many is too many for a love scene?
Rawiya: For me over 3. *waggles eyebrows* I’ve read books where its 4 or more. I even read one where the woman had 7 lovers. It was an erotic take on Snow White and the dwarfs. Very creative but not for me. Menage a trois is as high as I’ll go!
SP-Have you had more issues for writing m/m or interracial?
Rawiya: Actually no. I think it’s what makes me stand out. My books have done pretty well. Not on any top of the chart lists yet but still enough to garner attention. Unlike my fellow muses, BLMorticia and Michael Mandrake, my focus is only on multiracial relationships. I’m looking to take this farther than just black/white too. I have Asian and Indian males on my list of characters to come.
SP-What’s heating up in your WIPs?
Rawiya: At the moment I’m idle. I just finished edits on my next book, Sugar Daddy an m/m interracial May/December and now I’m waiting to finish my ménage a trois book called Trois in Treble. Can’t wait to get back to that!
SP-How far into a book is too far for the first sex scene in a book?
Rawiya: To me there is no such thing. It all depends on the plot line and the characters. In my opinion, the longer they stay out of bed, the better. Builds sexual tension.
SP-A little about you…What’s your favorite…
Adult beverage? If I can be girly a moment, Strawberry Daiquiri
Guilty pleasure? I love 80’s movies and music. Sue me. ;)
